Anything those twin brothers have anything to do with is a piece of crap.
They used to host a show about fart pipes, body kits, P-chips,
(P-chips?!?!?!?), turbo BOOOST, and 50,000 Watt, 200-speaker stereo systems.
That show got cancelled, I wonder why? Must be their very stylish haircuts
and their mastery of the English language. Can you tell they're from New
Yawk City?
The premise of the Full Throttle show is actually pretty good - the winning
team at the dragstrip gets to take home BOTH cars. The bad part: you have
to spend a couple of days with those 2 morons from NYC, and you have to
listen them convey their "vast" knowledge of everything automotive. I don't
think I want to listen to 2 morons who turbocharge Honda Civics for living
tell me about the history of the 1967 Ford Mustang.
The first episode was two Datsun 240Z's. Very Cool.
Next was two 1968 Mustang notchbacks. Cool.
Then two Buick Grand Nationals. Very Cool.
Then two mid-70s round-headlights Pontiac Firebirds (not Trans Ams). Cool.
Then, the lack of hair allowed too much sun to get to the tiny brains of
those twin morons.
The next episode was the lopsided AMC Pacer vs AMC Gremlin. Gee, guess
which car won? Remember, the winning team gets to take home both cars - so,
one teammate got the Gremlin and the other got stuck with the Pacer, AND he
had to spend a few days with those 2 morons.
The most recent episode was the lopsided El Camino vs Ranchero that Ron
mentioned.
Next episode is supposed to be late-60s VW Beetles. That should be cool.
But something tells me it would be a better episode if it was hosted by
someone who knew that some cars have the engine in the rear and not all the
"cool" cars are built in Japan.
Oh, the best part of the show is when the teams are finished building the
cars. The cars are re-painted their "factory original" colors. When the
240Z's, the 'Stang's, and the Firebirds all came back from the painter they
were "Pea Green" and "Puke Orange". Gee, thanks for the FREE UGLY cars you
2 morons.
I don't recall what colors the Pacer and Gremlin were painted.
Fortunately they could not mess up the sinister black GN's.
