I only know about Gen 1 peculiarities....Gen 2 would want to be the same if they are
mechanical, but I know not for sure.  I can check next time I'm at PnP...but it
would be SLOs I'd be looking at.

The only fact I know for sure is that single cables from the 3.8 ATX SLO will
interchange with the upper cable of a Gen 1 MTX.  That is a very good thing.  The
slide and ridge lower end of both the upper and lower cables are the same, and will
both snap into a speed sensor, or into another lower cable's upper end.
