Hey uh, they've already done that with the trailers on DVDs.  They disabled
chapter skip during the trailers.  I think the idea lasted for like a year.
I haven't seen it on a DVD in over a year now though, which makes sense
because people would be REALLY pissed if they BOUGHT the movie and it did
that.  If it was a rental that's one thing, but if I BUY a movie, I'd expect
not to have to deal with forced marketing like that.

P.S..........I know some of you are wondering why I didn't post a 3 page
response to this whole <OT> thing....I still might when I'm not as
busy....however I just have one thing to say about freedom.......we damn
sure don't have it, and if you THINK we have freedom it's time for you to
sit down and research exactly what our government says we CAN'T do.  Bet
you'll get 10% of the way through our "laws" before discovering there's more
we can't do in this country than we can.  Freedom?  HA!!  We'll never have
that with a government that is run according to something extremely
subjective like morals, and not something fair and practical like LOGIC.
Heck, I'd settle for a little common sense to be used even.

Ah America Land of the Offended.  It always amazes me
that a supposedly free and independent people in the
greatest nation on earth can be offended by what
others say or think about them.  We judge people every
day (who to hire, who to fire, who to buy from or not
buy from, how much to tip, who to say hello to etc)
and we are free to use whatever criteria we want. 
When you take away that freedom for whatever reason,
even the reason of the greater good we all suffer for
it because someone is telling us how to think and why
thy are censoring our thoughts.  Offended I'll tell
you offended that's watching your buddy get blown in
half cause he's wearing a different uniform than the
other guy, that's offended.  Commenting on the
intelligence of someone from NYC because of their
accent is just an offhand comment.  We have a saying
down south from the old Andy Griffith Show "You'll act
like you got some smarts"  words can't hurt you, never
can, never will unless you let them.  What someone
says or thinks about another person does not amount to
a hill of beans so quit trying to tell someone how to
think no mater how politically correct it is at the
moment.  We all have a gift here living in this
country.  I have lived in some real shit holes for
comparison.  So lets make the best of it and let
everyone live and think free.  And please no crap
about the Supreme Court and the law of the land etc,
pretty soon it will be illegal to fast forward through
the trailers at the front of your purchased or rented
videos or DVDs (seriously).  Like the song says Land
of the Free and Home of the Brave.  It doesn't say
Home of the Wimps and the Offended!
