Sorry, that should say "locktight" in the third sentence.

Hi all,

Just got back from getting the oil changed at one of those not so great 10
lube places (it's winter, too cold outside to do it personally).

Anyways, Andy is not around for me to ask yet so I am asking the list first.

Per their note on the bottom of my receipt................"The filter base
plate stud came loose when the filter was removed, it needed to be tightened
for it to stop leaking out of it". He said I should get it into a dealer and
have them look at it. It might need some lock or such.

Does this sound right? Did they screw something up (it's happened before)?
Should I worry much?

This is on my '91 plus, 98K, doesn't leak normally unless I let it sit for a
month or more.

  Thanks much,
