I have not done this myself, but why can't you take the AC accumulator out?
That should give you enough room to get things done.
Btw, do you have the recall SF nuts or the OEM nuts? It sound like you have the stock nuts.
FWIW, if you do have the recall kit, which I also have, the following procedure may help you.
When I installed the recall SF kit I had a similar problem on the front pass corner. The nut would just turn around with the bolt forever.
I ended up designing a wrench with a pair of long metal wires attached at each end.
I then dropped the tool into the subframe through big hole next to the AC accumulator.
Once the tool was in there, there are enough other holes to move it around and fit it over the nut. Then once you start turning the bolt, the nut piece will stay put.
