Ron,

Read your note, I said NOTHING to you in my original note
and you assume all sorts of stuff and call me names and try
to tell me what I think and what I know. If you can't see
that, then you have a HUGE set of blinders on.

and here you do it again.

Plus you got it wrong in talking about me making a comment
about Aerosmith. I don't care about them, didn't comment
then, didn't comment now. What does that have to do with
anything anyway?

Quit taking it to a personal level and trying to tell ME
what I think or know.

If this is your idea of polite, you need to re-adjust your
thinking.

There is a difference between a personal opinion, which my
first and follow up notes (till you took a shot at me) and a
personal attack. I have never told you what YOU can or
should think, other than to QUIT telling me what to think or
do.

Who cares what "true" rock groups you love, I did address
your question, but what groups I have or have not heard is
totally irrelevant to any discussion on this. Again, You
don't know who I have or have not listened to, but just to
make you happy, and to emphasize that you WERE getting
personal, I have heard from, and have albums from most of
those groups you mention. Doesn't mean I loved their stuff
then, or still do, it has NOTHING To do with my disgust over
this halftime show, or my total dislike of the way you have
to come after my comments by telling me what I do or do not
like or listen to. You do it every time.

Oh, you have no idea who AKUS is? Then I guess YOU really
don't know what I like or listen to. It is Alison Krauss
and Union Station. Celebrated country and bluegrass group
with the multi-time winner of the musician of the year
award. He plays the Dobro. I won't assume to make
conclusions about your musical knowledge (or lack of) for
not knowing about AKUS, why do you feel you can do the same
about me? You serious you don't know what the Chicago
Symphony is? Wow, they have been around a long time before
any of the groups you mentioned, and will be around a long
time after those groups are forgotten. How about Boston
symphony, Boston Pops? SAme league. But just because you
don't know who a world famous group is, I should not assume
you are naive about music. But you sure did about me. WE
each have our likes and dislikes, why can't you just go with
that and not put people down if they don't have your exact
likes and dislikes?

As for you not getting personal, here is a quote from you:
> Don....you ARE a prude, and it is obvious that you are way out of touch with current
  entertainment culture."

sounds pretty personal and also very presumptious on your
part. Self-rightous? I would say that describes someone
that tells others what THEY think and know, instead of just
trying to get their own point across.

I say again, why don't you try just making your point
without having to take it to a personal level.
