Yes, I didn't see your "oops".

Talking over twice the distance plus tying up the truck for 
a few extra days.  Taking that into account, your friend's 
price is probably high. ;)

  But then I am an American and can't think in terms of 
currency conversions or metrics so I have no idea how to 
compare this data.  :)

Still, I was serious, get the name of the transport company 
he used and we can see if they can quote on the job.
