If you mean the IRCM....Integrated Relay Control Module....the thing under
the
radiator support cover....it supplies power to the fuel pump (along with
many other
important things).  If the hot lead that parallels the positive battery
cable (and
comes off the positive battery terminal) is disconnected or otherwise
electrically
open, no power goes to the computer OR the IRCM.  The CE light will be dim,
the fuel
pump won't run, the computer won't care when the plugs go off, and it won't
start.
That was the problem with the Plus from Hell.....the world's only 10 year
old SHO
Plus that cost its (previous) new owner $10,000.
