4x4 wedged between the subframe and the tie-rod. Push HARD. It's an 89 so
no doubt that sucker is seized in there. When I did the clutch on my 90 I
had a HELL of a time getting that out. Don't use something metal because
chances are it will bend. I bent both my spud bar AND a big ass 3' crowbar
before I succeed with a 2x4 turned on it's end. Again, it's NOT easy, but
it can be done, and you don't need any expensive one-use tools.
