[Shotimes] 80mm MAF failure, CLEANING procedure and Materials?

Mike,  The 77mm MAF came with a cone filter.  Is that what you have?  The
cleaning procedure is to use a spray on cleaner and then flush with water.
 This removes the oil from the gauze material inside the screen mesh. 
This turns the filter from red to white/gray.  After the gause has dried,
you have to oil it with the K&N spray that come in the kit which makes the
filter red again.
