I have three rakes as well. The don't work on snow very well!

I have about 12 very large Maple trees on our 1 acre (US) property. That
adds up to lots of leaves! The first year here we raked, and raked, and
raked....
Now I use the blower for the majority of the leaves and the rakes for the
lighter stuff as well as for under bushes and other hard to reach places.

A 10 HP leaf blower, gee don't tell my neighbour about it . He already
feels the need to use his less powerful version at every opportunity, waking
us each morning at 6.00 am to clean up the three leaves that have fallen on
his driveway overnight. :-)

I have a rake (early model manual equivalent of the leaf blower) I use it
once every 2 weeks (if SWMBO reminds me) in the middle of the day.
