[Shotimes] Cooling system woes

A properly operating cooling system, meaning no leaks and a good cap , will
purge itself of all air in a few cooling cycles. What you are seeing is a
lot of air in your cooling system. Go out and after the motor is warmed up
shift through the gears at redline a couple of times. This will get the
coolant moving through the block fast enough to push the air out.
When I fill I always leave one of the small TB cooling hoses off and pulled
up high so it is the highest point of the cooling system. Then fill till
the coolant comes out of this hose good and green. This will purge a lot of
the water and air out of the system.
