[Shotimes] Starting Issues

The starter cannot be hooked up in reverse. I would suspect your starter
brushes or a cable.
Do this, while cranking check the voltage. If it drops below 11V then there
is either a very large current draw or you have a bad battery or a bad
connection.
If you know Ohms you can check the cables for resistance. Put the meter in
Ohm, check the ends of the cable with the leads, should be under .5 ohms
from end to end.
