Now you've got me curious.  What would cause aftermarket wires and boots OF 
THE PROPER DIMENSIONS AND FIT to be degraded more quickly in an oily/watery 
environment than the OEM ones?  Yeah, obviously the choice or quality of 
materials but why would a bunch of reputable manufacturers take a backseat to 
Motorcraft in that regard? 

Any enlightenment would be welcome.  Not challenging y'all, but very curious.
