There are a couple ways to go about this procedure. If it were me
personally, I would NOT installed a remite start for one of my customers on a MTX if it
weren't designed to. Main reason being I couold be liable for doing so
through the shop. If I HAD to do it though.. I would use the ground while running
wire from the remote start into a relay which would ONLY bypass the clutch when
its remote started. This does not solve the problem completely, but won't
allow it to start with a key without the clutch depressed.

The other thing I would do would be to either use the hood pin wire, or the
park/neutral wire and tap it to the e-brake using a relay. Then if the ebrake
weren't engaged, it simply would not remote start. This is similar to the way
that the MTX remote starts are setup.

Remember that with your trunk release, to always relay it off the brain EVEN
if it is setup correctly. The low current output from the brain may not be
enough to trigger it, and even if it is, if not properly relayed, could result
in damage to the remote start brain.
