AS for the noise recoreded, remember there are some very
sophisticated noise cancelling microphones/amps out there.
The new Bose noise cancelling headphone system is a civilian
offshoot of this technology. They can take out almost
anything except the voice.
It does beg the question why they could not get the sound of
the gun out too, but maybe it is too loud and short of a
sound or they didn't decide to cut out that sound so people
would know when the thing went off! :)
