Well, other than the A/C taking a catastrophic dump just west of Stockton, CA, things went well.  1800 miles, and about 1200 miles of it desert, with no A/C is not fun.  Ford could have found a worse place to pull in air for the ventilation, but I'm not sure how...

Anyway, not many cops, Mark's alternator worked, engine never missed a beat.  And the V-1 is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Most I paid for fuel:  $3.19 in Bridgeport, CA
Least:  $1.89 in Fort Worth, Texas  It's nice to be home.
