I do have the 94 Kevin and have confirmed that I have the D471 PCM, but
yes, that is a good idea--I do not know how earlier cars will be
affected by this, but seeing as how it is an "easy enough" idea to try,
no harm, no foul IMHO.

 This is a good tip and may help. If your have a 93 ATX be sure and
upgrade to the 1994-95  D4U1 PCM. This made a noticeable difference in
my 93. . .
