[Shotimes] Help! Battery hitting idler pulley

My battery is also extremely close to that pulley, but not touching. I had
to wedge a small piece of wood (paint stirrer) between the battery and the
arm of the tray near the pulley to move the battery back where I felt that
the engine wouldn't touch the battery if it moved. I have removed and
reinstalled that tray at least 5 times and the battery is always in the same
place.
