Subject: [Shotimes] OT - stripped threads

My 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 5.2L V-8 and multi-port injection has an
aluminum throttle body where the carburetor would normally be. In the
center of the TB is a threaded rod that holds the air cleaner on, just like
on a carburetor. The threads in that hole (in the Aluminum TB) are
stripped. Should I fix it with a heli-coil? Does anyone have any
experience with some sort of high-temp epoxy? Comments? Suggestions?
