[Shotimes] Trans Help

Hello Folks ! 
I wanted to ask a question to a manual trans experts on the list. I have a
1993 MTX SHO, and I bought it this way. It doesn't want to engage when you
let off the clutch, you have to rev and rev, and maybe it will start to
catch and try to move. You can let it idle in gear and it won't move. I call
it the SLOwest SHO I know.  I can put it in all the gears. Do you think it
just needs a clutch or could there be something else wrong? It has 215K on
it, and I bought it at an auction as a repo. Other than a dent in the door
and not moving it was in great shape. If someone would recommend a good SHO
mechanic in the Kansas City area I would appreciate it.
