What makes you think that the AC compressor is bad?
They usually don't go bad but the AC clutch does.

What is the AC doing or not doing?

Should you need a compressor I probably have a spare
that I could get rid of...

Is your 93 running the newer r-134a or the older r12
freon? If you remove your old compressor you are
either going to need to recharge the r12 (expensive)
or evacuate and charge with r134a. The latter should
really be done properly by retrofitting other
components (also expensive). Most 93's ran r12 (mine
still does) but my old parts car (93 atx) ran r134a
from the factory. I think it was one of a few 93's
that ran the newer stuff before the factory went to
r134a full swing in 94.
