[Shotimes] Replacements for your SHO

I've been looking at the Audi S4, it's a bit pricier then the SHO but
it's also faster from what I understand.

I bought my 89 new in March of 1990 and didn't even look at other cars,
once I saw the ads for the SHO I knew that was what I wanted. I've been
on this list a long time (my oldest saved message is from June of 1997)
I just don't post much. My 95 has 133K on it and I drive at least 80
miles a day to / from work. I want something that is fun to drive. I
would buy another SHO but I really prefer a MTX and when I finally get
rid of the 95 in about a year most of the 95 and older cars with low
mileage will be just too difficult to find and I am will be looking for
something a little newer. Either way I will be keeping my 89 to play
with. (It was the 1st new card I bought)

Basically what it comes down to is... since Ford isn't making SHOs any
more they will just get to be too old for **some** people who aren't
into having a daily driver that is older and **may** require more
tinkering and maintenance.

Just my 2 cents.

Green 1995 MTX
Black 1989 MTX (of course)

Replacements for the SHO are one of our favorite topics. I've thought
about this a lot, probably lots of other people have also. I've looked
at the WRX but for me personally I needed a larger car although someone
could argue that the WRX comes in a wagon version also. The new turbo
Legacy may be even better when it arrives. The new Mazda 6 seems to be
a good replacement- in many ways equal to the specs of the SHO. It also
comes in wagon form. I've considered the Maxima and the G35, even the
Acura TL. There are a few Pontiac models that could be considered but I
usually don't.

I don't know why everybody got so touchy all of a sudden. Seemed to me
that the responses to this topic were normal responses. I've learned to
not read the wrong tone into a short written email message.
