Told ya.

;^)

Did I mention you now are ready for a Ted B. LPM? When you get one, don't be surprised by the quick 1-2 shift including some wheelchirp (if desired).

Take care,

Gentlemen

Thanks for the help- it was that damn bolt in the engine compartment that
hooks into the back of the computer that was holding it in Once I removed that
bolt, out she slid.

Spray the foam gasket on the top of the computer with a little silicone
lubricant, wait a minute or two and the comp will slide right out easily.

  Guys

I am trying to pull my H3Z computer out of my 93, and replace it with a
D4U1 computer. My problem is that I can't get that old one out. Looking at
the depth of the pins on the D4U1, I believe I have pulled it about 3/4 way
out, but no amount of force I pull on it with will help the rest of the
way.
I have enlisted the help of vise grips and all. Is this just a matter of
wiggling it and pulling? I noticed the back side of the D4U1 computer has a
  built in nut.
When I get this computer out, is the cable bundle held in place by a
screw??
    Thanks in advance
    Bob
