Boy-O-Boy is THAT the truth.

In Saudi Arabia, in China, in plenty of other countries there is much less of a
petty theft problem than we have here. You want to know why? Because when a thief
is caught stealing something as small as an apple off a cart in an open air market,
he can have his hand cut off. CUT OFF!! A stewardess, years ago, off either an
American or European airline took a piece of fruit off a cart in Saudi, fully
intending to pay for it. She started to eat it before paying, and was nearly
arrested for theft. There was a big brouhaha about it at the time. How many
people in this country go in and raid the bulk peanuts or candy baskets in a
supermarket with no intention of paying for what they take? Hmmmmmm?

If our Founding Fathers were writing the Constitution right now, rather than 225
years ago, and were well familiar with the way life is around here today, you can
bet your most valuable asset, whatever that might be, that the portion about civil
rights wouldn't be quite so liberal as it is. People were a little more civil back
then, even though the quality of life was way less than it is now.

No huge threads, please.....this is just my opinion. Totally worthless as barter.
