Hey I run a coan racing C-6 in my drag truck and for that it's great drop L and push it forward pretty consistant. But as for the street cars I've had auto's with shift kits chips reverse valve bodies reverse pattern you name it and it's boring. And it still does not compare to a stick. I'd have a Maurader parked in the driveway if it came stick. Hell I'd have alot of cars parked here if they were stick. My wife who drives a LeBaron Convert with a slushbox wants a SHO but it HAS to be stick her opinion is why bother with the automatic when I can have a stick. Gotta respect the woman for that. Now considering my uncles 88 Vette has a horspower and weight advantage to my SHO. But for some strange reason I beat the vette 3 times so far. The only advantage I see the SHO having is the Stick over his slushbox. By the way when I ruptured the rear brake line last weekend the stick was a joy to get home downshift that baby to pretty much a complete stop.
Dave Give me a manual trans or give me death

Not wanting to start an argument but a chip and your right arm will make
shifting the ATX Gen 3 quite an enjoyable experience. I wouldn't trade my
'97 for any previous year SHO. Well maybe a blue A1 condition '95 mtx......
Naw not even that.

never driven a stick you are missing out. 95% of what I own has a manual
gear box. Nothing like turning the radio off opening the windows listening
to the rpms climb while not watching the gauges shifting by sound.Just
adding a stick to almost anything makes it a plesure it drive. I'd take a 5
speed anything over a automatic SHO. That's why there will never be a Gen 3
here unless I figure out a manual option for it.
