Wow,now that is weird, alternator started acting up yesterday,so I was able
to get Red started after a push.Took it off, had it bench tested, sure
enough voltage was very weak.189Kreplace original alternator...Wow,I think
the problem is solved,Nope...voltage regulator took a dump,Yikes!its
original too.I replace it with a new one .......Hey cool, problem
solved, yeah right.I start 'em up and the starter continues on ......and on
and on and on,Dammit.I pop the hood pull the neg. battery cable and he
finally stopped.I am too afraid too hook it back up just yet,I think I may
have fried me starter. There wasn't any smoke but I am almost posistive its
cooked. Its probally original too. This was my 1st time to hear a starter make
such a sound when the engine is running.
