Thanks Michael. Mea culpa to not ask about the tire weight when I
bought the package. Only after I saw the UPS manifest did this hit
me.
But it is nice that the bigger outfits such as TR and DT are
sensitive to these questions and can provide the data in an instant.
By comparison, I went to a local retail business here in West Palm
only to have watch as the guy (who is my neighbor BTW) make phone
call after phone call to try and get the information. I realized
that this was going nowhere and just let the subject die. Knowledge
is power.
The tire subject will continue to be important because I only expect
to get anywhere between 15 to 20K miles out of these from what I've
read in various reviews even though the tread rating is 300. These
wheels spin up fast so it is easy to break them loose and I do like
to drive fast on occasion. :O
