Have you run the codes? I would also do the cylinder balance test. Maybe
you have a weak coil or cylinder? A coil that is not firing all the time
could cause the power loss and would definitely put more unburned
hydrocarbons into the cats! With 3 coils in the pack one missing could be
tough to find. There is a seperate trouble code for each of the 3 coils.
Cleaning the top of the coil pack can help too.
