[Shotimes] Glowing Cats?

I looked over the intake and it appears to be on correctly.  I also
noticed that it runs fine cold, but after about 5-10 minutes it begins
to chug.  Seems as if you unplugged one of the spark plugs.  I also
noticed a lot of water coming out of both exhaust tips, and the exhaust
smelled a little strange.  After about ten min. of this the cats began
to turn red again.  I also found it strange that once in a while if I
would squeeze the upper radaiator hose the engine stutter even more.
(The heat inside the car is working though!!:) ).  I don't know where to
begin.  ???????

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your cats aren't supposed to glow bright
orange while idling in the garage, right!  Is this the cause of my power
loss?  I just replaced the y-pipe and O2 sensors about 100 miles ago.
That was a pain in the ass...  What should I do?

I finally got the old beast back together! (heater core replacement)
She seems to run fine, but I've noticed that once in a while it starts
to lack power.  From a stop you press on the gas and she'll go, but
accelerate slowly.  She put, puts like she is going to die, and then a
few seconds later the power kicks in.  Forgive me if my explanation is
weak.  Any ideas of what is causing this?  And how to fix it.  Thanks!
