In 1897 Ransom E. Olds founded the Olds Motor Vehicle Co.In 1901 comes his 
1st car.April 29,2004 is the last. (an Alero)1926 was the 1st for chrome 
plated trim.The 1940 models was the 1st for fully automatic trannys.There 
are many other 1st for Olds.I went thru some old phots and found my fathers 
old pink and white Olds.WHAT a car!!!!!I remember handing him wrenches from 
his old tool box working on the car in the late 60's.He refered to it as 
grannys old OLDS.Wow!I never owned one my self but I know others who 
have.And each one definatly had its own personality.I can hear POP now 
.........5/8 wrench boy, not a half..........
