Dude, honestly, the way the navy is nowadays, it really *is* an
organization... paperwork is a life-form that exists for the sole purpose of
reproducing and expanding itself... people care only about their own carreer
and their own happiness rather than their shipmates'... There are still a
few chiefs (including mine, thank God!) that still care about their
underlings and want to see them succeed, but for the most part, the second
classes are too busy trying to make first, all the firsts are so desperate
to make chief that they would stab their own mother in the back, and all the
chiefs just don't care any more... they have the second classes do the job.
It's really sad that it's gotten that way, and something needs to be done
about it, dammit! The Navy has forgotten that its purpose is to kill people!
not kill trees!
Thanks for letting me vent... I worked a 12 hour day for the man today...
