[Shotimes] VSS-what are the odds

What are the odds that my 2nd VSS would fail within 2 years??

Replaced in about 2 years ago.. Tranny died a year ago and replaced.  Now 
after it gets nice and warm it starts to buck and shift odd and thew a 452 
code (VSS sensor).  I was gonna have it replaced again only 150 bucks labor 
10 part.  Just pisses me off.
