I don't know if you guys have ever of Langka but it eliminates the need to
sand the repaired area when done.  It chemically removes the excess
touch-up paint without removing any of the original paint leaving the chip
or scratch blended into the factory paint.  I've used it to repair several
chips with terrific results.  You can buy it at http://www.langka.com.
