[Shotimes] handling and steering

Leigh, Mark,

You and Mark confirm what I've been suspecting all along. I admit that I'm "into" crisp handling and the wide look. In fact, I'm so unhappy with the steering response, and lack of wide look with the 7.5" rims, that I'm considering replacing the 17"x7.5" SSR wheels with 18"x8 or 18"x8.5" BrandX wheels combined with 235/40 tires.

Do you have any recommendation for 18"x8 or 18"x8.5 lightweight wheels?

I'm like ready to kick myself for having spent all this money on the SSRs. Though they are extremely light and look damn good on the car. And the Rosso are quite sticky and wonderful in the rain.

If anyone is interested in a set of SSRr with Rosso tires (7K left on thread), let me know. I'm not decided yet, but probably will sell soon. The wheels have only ~5,000 miles on them. I can send pics if you're interested.
