[Shotimes] knife edge crank

Smokey wrote a huge three volume set of books before he 
died, others had to edit it so it could be readable, but it 
is GREAT reading.

We gave auctioned off one of the sets at the 2000 
convention....I think it was that one.

One book is about his WWII life and flying
another is about Indy
The final and really "smoking" book is about NASCAR.

The book I enjoyed the most though is the one about his WWII 
flying career.  It explains a lot about why so many of that 
generation never talked about their war experience, it was a 
terrifying time, but there was money to be made too, even in 
the service.

It is available at Amazon.com and I suppose other stores. 
The set in paperback weighs about 11 pounds!  Worth every 
penny and you can use it to bench press!
