The ambient air temperature sensor is a black cylinder about 3/4" in
diameter. It is located on the left side front of the car in front of the
radiator. The wires leading to it SHOULD be red-Orange and Pink-Black.
Check to see if the in car temp sensor is working or not. If neither one is
working there is a problem with the pink-black wire that is a common digital
ground for both sensors.

Subject: [Shotimes] Outside Temp = -40 F

Just finished replacing the brake booster and master cylinder and everything
went back together nicely eccept now my climate control is telling me that
the outside temp is always -40. I had to disconnect a lot of wire harnesses
in the brake booster area in order to remove it. Did I forget one when I
put her back together or is this another problem? Where is this signal
generated? I also had the battery disconnected for about 2 weeks.

Thanks
Ken
