  It's not "real racing", it's "going real fast with a bunch of other guys". 
The fact that you've been "at speed" on an oval and it's "scary" doesn't make 
it "real racing". Real racing doesn't require friends so you don't get left 
behind by a train of cars, who themselves, can do nothing else because they too 
would be left behind if they stepped out. Real racing doesn't have tracks they 
race on where "the big one" is not only expected but anticipated by fans and 
media. Real racing attempts to prevent injury and mayhem. Real racing has fans 
that don't throw things at cars. Real, modern, race cars lost their 
carburators and push rods decades ago. Real racing shows ethnic diversity and a 
willingness to accept you even if your name isn't Earnhardt.
 Now back off Don, no need to tell me what I don't know, I've been around 
racing 35 years and I know I what I like, and it's, obviously, not NASCAR!
