I had one on my old green car. I didn't have any trouble draining oil.
I would imagine one may be able to tweak everything before it's
welded to give as much room as possible. As always, manufacturing
tolerances will make a difference. I had a shop install mine because
I couldn't get the old one off. They may have done some "customizing".
I would say that I didn't feel any difference until the secondaries
opened up. And then you could fell the difference. I regret not
salvaging that car and taking the y-pipe off for this car. Now I
don't have the extra money to get a new one.
