Robert,

Just because you don't like it doesn't make what they do
less "racing" than other forms. I don't like F1 with it's
truely boring parades and one team dominating, but they are
still "racing" and the drivers are still skilled.

You said it yourself, you don't like NASCAR, but when you
call what they do "not racing" you still show a lack of
understanding of the sport.

Why should I "back off" when you are the one putting down a
sport. It is OK that you don't like NASCAR, but the fact
that you don't like it has NOTHING to do with whether it is
"real" racing or not.

And you get into the diversity question? I could make an
argument that Basketball needs diversity more than NASCAR.

The sport reflects it's market, NASCAR and its fans grew up
together. Minorities have and continue to race within
NASCAR. But what form of major motorsport are you in love
with that has much more in the way of "diversity"?

My note said NOTHING about what you knew or didn't know. IT
did give my experience. You didn't say anything about
yours. Don't take offense and get hot when I said nothing
for you to be upset about. So maybe YOU should back off?

REally, the one guy was right, it's OT and not worth the
electrons.
