I had a Russian try to scam me on tranny. He had emailed me on several
occasions trying to by a tranny for his 90 SHO. He was very slick in his
negotiations to seem like a legitimate buyer. So when we had a deal set up
for the tranny and shipping he told me he didn't like to use his credit card
online and a check would take too long. He wanted to just wire the cash to
me.
Of course I would have to give him all of my account information for him to
do that, so I called my bank and set up a dummy account and sent him that
information. Within a few days, he tried to clean that account out, but of
course it was a dummy and empty.
