[Shotimes] good news, bad news (more codes)

Hi all,
For anyone following my saga, here's the latest. New DIS did not help
the coil codes (swapped the coil first). In fact, I still have the 215
(coil 1) and now a 217 (coil 3). I also got a 212, IDM circuit failure /
SPOUT grounded. What the hell does that mean?
Another code that stayed was 116, the non-existent ECT code. I'm
confident I haven't mis-counted the blinks this many times, so what's up
with this one? Should I just swap the sensor and not worry, or think
about swapping in my spare PCM if this one has gone crazy?
The good news is I got to the bottom of the PSPS and VSS codes! It was
quite simple really. Located next to each other, both have two prong
connectors that are shaped fairly similar. The PSPS one fits on the VSS
pretty good, but vice versa doesn't work too well. Doh! =)
