Well, the car IS sold (well, a pending sale to another SHO enthusiast)!!
After 15 years of driving a FWD SHO daily driver (not including the other
cars I own), I have gone to AWD.

If you are as totally opposed to even the concept of FWD as you pass
yourself off to be, then why precisely do you own one? Either shut up and
drive it, or get rid of it. Driving a car and bitching about it is what I
like to call "hypocrisy".

It's not that "I'm right", there are other experienced folks out here who
have found the same thing over the years. They have weighed in on this
thread both here and on the V8 list. And to make the blanket statement about
FWD is being rather uninformed, especially followed by "we all know
this"......no, we don't know this because it isn't true.

If FWD was so wonderful, why the move back to RWD and also AWD that
enthusiasts and car mag writers have been wanting for many years? FWD is a
cheap solution for cheap cars, and that's where it should have stayed.
