LoL. I stopped reading the thread when it became "my
word against yours". Which if you go back to the
archives, that happened along time ago.
Look, I didn't mean to start ANOTHER cockfight. For
that, I apologize. All I'm saying is that if an
"average driver" takes a FWD off the lot with
all-season tires (which most cars (FWD, RWD, AWD)
around here nowadays are coming with) and a RWD with
all-season tires, and drives it on unpleasant road
conditions, the FWD will probably (keyword probably)
handle better. YES, that's a "catch-all" statement,
possibly uninformed, but hey, in my 6 yrs on the road,
thats what I've seen. Not going to get into the age
factor: "your older so you've seen more" <G> Which is
probably true. ;-)
Not defending FWD, just giving my opinion, which in
this case is not-so-humble. But whatever. I honestly
wish I had an AWD Subie Legacy. They're nice cars, and
will handle ALOT better in crappy conditions, but for
now, I have a FWD with all-seasons, and thats just
fine with me.
Call me stupid, call me a dumbass, hell, call me
Ishmael... I don't care ;-)
