An idea...

One thing that helped me cut the time down to change
the CrankSensor, was rather than wrestling the two
harnesses up to the intake from behind the upper
timing cover, I noted the wiring order, removed all
the wires from the two connectors and taped them
neatly up.  This way it was alot easier to fish them
up to the top.

Maybe this had been mentioned before.
