I can understand the IAC causing a stall at idle, but
how does the IAC come into play when driving at
highway speeds? Doesn't the IAC more or less cease
function when the throttle plate is opened? Wouldn't
the perpetual motion of the engine cause it to keep
running, even if it momentarily lost spark? I think
that I'm losing spark completely, therefore causing
the engine to shut down. But how could this happen?
Don't ignition components either function, or not (how
does this explain the intermittenty)?
Please help me out!
