[Shotimes] CD player problem

Dave, This is not a factory option as you say but it is a Ford branded,
SONY OEM product installed at dealerships. I think you can go to
dealership even today and find some type of solution offered along these
lines. I don't know if this was offered before 1992 MY, but I have one in
my SHO. I found this to be a better solution than the single CD dash
unit. If this is something that is of interest to people, I could post
some pictures of it. I even have the Ford labeled changer cartridge with
Ford stamped on it.
