[Shotimes] Premium sound (getting OT)

Back in the day when MP3 encoding started to become popular (circa 1998),
128 bit was the setting most commonly used. Applications like MusicMatch
used to give you that capability for free and charge you to use the higher
bit settings. At this point, we use 256bit (now free) for all encoding.
You don't really need more than that. Any of the music I have encoded in
128 bit needs to be redone in 256 bit.

A song encoded in 256 bit MP3 format is about 25% the size of the original
CD file. In my experience, this just fine for a car application. And
anytime I've used this on the home stereo it has worked fine.
