Does anyone know what sort of plastic was used in Gen2 dash parts? Like, specifically, the 18-syllable name? A buddy of mine is one of the founders of an aluminum-plating business. Their process is solvent-based. We'd like to know whether Gen2 dash and console parts might survive that process. Probably not but I thought it worth asking. VO
