[Shotimes] How to get 300HP from your 3.0L SHO engine

Mike,

Well, I was sort of assuming that it DIDN't have forget crank and rods.

I suspected it had forged rods, cause I just changed my rod bearings, and the rods looked like they were forged.  But for some reason I didn't believe it...go figure.

I'm surprised to hear that it already has forged crank. It doesn't look forged at all. How come the crank has that brownish pimplishly rugged surface?

I know it has cast pistons for sure.
